hello did you use forscan or FDRS to config? also did you need to program the vin to it? thanks in advance

I'm sorry about the late response, but @SilverPigeon looks like he's got you. He's definitely more experienced than I am, but from my experience, this was super easy, once he sent me the SODR information was sent.

sorry this is a Transit connect vin# nm0le7s28p1552983 not sure if you can still help me. but i just got on forscan but it doesnt show that module (SODR). the code only comes out on the IPC U0233:00-8A and in the APIM U0233:00-0B. so im not sure with module has to be programmed. anything would really help. Thanks again

@al18r21 Take screen shots of the details of the DTCs and post them here. Also take a screen shot of all the modules listed on the right hand side when you first connect to the van.

So.i ended up getting another side object detection module , the first one was bad. Now i do not get any codes on the forscan. But the blind fault and cross fault appear on the dash. So i tried my other scanner and i did see both left and right blind spot module with a mis match vin code.. i attached the forcan pic but it doesnt show those modules. (SODL OR SODR)

Click the car icon and the log tab; it should show that those modules were detected. If they are there, then we are ok to proceed with coding the VIN into the SODR.

If they're not there, but another scan tool saw them, then the adapter you're using for FORScan either isn't supported fully or isn't configured correctly. What adapter are you using? What does the settings page for the adapter look like?

The adapter is autel maxiflash vci. I will take a pic on monday of the settings page, maybe something is not right on there. If not i will have to pay for ford FRDS.

You don't need FDRS for this job; go to the FORScan web site and there are a few cheap J2534 adapters they recommend for use with FORScan.

In the meantime, if your current adapter has a manual switch for high speed / low speed, make sure the settings are not set to "auto" for the connection to the truck. If no switch on the adapter, make sure it's set to "auto".

Just wanted to say thanks your your times and help. When I tried it this morning, both modules appeared. So i change the vin and all is working properly. Thanks again.
