Best fabric upholstery protection?!?!

Since college, this is my first vehicle with non-leather upholstery. I am wondering, what is your opinion on the best protection against stains and anything kids that are 3-5 years olds can throw at a car’s upholstery?

Nice! I’ll have to look into this option once I’m out of Alaska. Our options are very limited so I may have to Scotch Guard it or use a better product in the mean time.

Chemical guys make some stuff called Hydro Threads which is a ceramic coating for your interior cloth seats. Supposed to be pretty good for not letting fluids and stuff soak into the seats or carpet.
