I just read that Californians can’t buy out ESP from of state dealers? What BS! Is there a go to in state dealership that competes with Flood Fords prices? Thanks

I’ve heard you can use an out-of-state relative’s address although I’ve never tried it….since you live in CA, it might be worth looking into.

Thanks! I didn’t realize it’s tied to the VIN and all done via email so I can just use a friends address

I’m in Florida and told the ESP out of state purchase asks where the vehicle is registered at.
Like California we get higher prices for the ESP coverage and pay the Florida rate/costs however we won’t pay the tax by purchasing from out of state.
This was explained to me from a licensed out of state Ford ESP dealer.

Not sure about California but in Florida the law is that it must be sold by a Florida licensed dealer and at MAP pricing. The only online seller that is licensed in Florida is Zeigler.
