Odd issue. When you pull out the bed step, There is a cross pin that runs to the end of a slot and thats what is holding you up when you are on your step. I noticed my step is a little spongy and clicks when I step on it. What I've noticed is these pins are too short and if all the slop is on once side, the pin actually pops out of the channel. Both sides of my step do this and I can get one to do it with my hand. So, once one end of the pin pops out, it causes the tube to torque causing the spongy feeling. Has anyone else seen this?
These two pics are of the same side. the first pic shows the pin fully seated. The second pic shows how little of the pin is in the slot when all the slop is on one side.
