Base Care (ESP)

Under the impression that Base Care was worth it at the time of ordering, I went ahead with it, but now I'm thinking of cancelling it (if possible). Does anyone know what the Base Care Extended Service Plan gets you over the Bumper to Bumper Warranty and Roadside Assistance that comes for free?

I've called around and inquired at the dealership, but I didn't get very far. So far, all I can come up with is I might have got a free loaner with the Base Care, and the mileage goes to 48,000 instead of the Bumper to Bumper Warranty of 36,000.

I think one has 30 days to cancel/change it, and that's probably what I'm going to do based on what I hear here.

Yeah, it's sh!t. I should've went with my gut. Next time I'll try all the chat stuff through the app instead of trying to call. Transferring around Ford on the phone was not fun, if you say warranty they'd transfer you to warranty, if you say ESP they'll transfer you there and each side was ill-equipped to talk about the other. No one could compare the Warranty and Free Roadside against the Base Care and what it offers until I finally stopped someone from transferring me again - he then agreed with what I was finding....
