I had thought the auto deploy (at 40mph) was standard on all trims but I found this on the XLTs at my local dealer

So is it only on the upper trims?

Yes I'm here servicing my daughter's Ranger so it is purely coincidental! I put some pics in the official Guard color thread.

They look amazing and I got to take the Guard for a test drive! I wanted to compare the FX4 vs my current sport 2wd. I did not notice a difference so that's a GOOD thing... Also the cameras and 12" screen is so CLEAR it's crazy! And the EB was definitely punchier than my current EB.

Thanks for clarifying on the air dam, I'll check the vid when I get home.

Man I am so excited to see the camera quality first hand!! I am a sucker for actual good tech on vehicles! Was the infotainment relatively fast? Like I wont be satisfied until its as responsive as a last gen Iphone, but I will take what I can get haha

Haha yes I see we are both silicon valley nerds... I told the sales guy how much more responsive the touch screen is, it feels like a few gens back tablet (which is fine by me). I don't know if it's x86 or snapdragon or cheap taiwanese ARM cpu but it is vastly better than sync 3.

The cameras were crystal clear in daylight, I really hope that clarity holds up in dim and night conditions!

Nice! Good to hear! Did they have a Lariat Chrome by any chance? Its quite the drive for me, but I think i may make the drive if they do.

Not on all engines.
I think it is only on the EB & or PB engines.
I’ve looked this up before and the only thing I got from it, was that not used on the v8.

This kind of disappointed me a bit. 75% of my driving is on hiways and virtually no city driving at all.
Adding a proper air dam to my old lowered 79 Chev with a 454 was good for another mile per gallon + on the hiway. I was getting 14-15 on the hiway empty at 70mph+.
(Geared kinda tall). That was better than my 59 ElCamino with 454/5spd.

No sir, just the 2 XLT's. They have a KR listed in inventory, but only these 2 trucks in person. I suspect the rail from KC and lack of power running boards got these here quickly...
