Auto Brights and Ditch Deer Hunting

I found myself out of tobacco and had to run to the gas station this evening. First time I've been out after dark in the NEW truck so I figured I'd try out the auto bright feature. Halfway there the biggest bodied buck I've ever seen in my life magically appears by the side of the road. Looked to be about a 10 pointer and I'm on the brakes as hard as I can given it had been raining. My trucks life flashed before my high beams and I just KNEW he was gonna jump out in front of me and wreck the NEW truck. Luckily he decided to jump UP the hill and over the fence into the cow pasture.

Auto Brights are a super nice feature!

Does the 2023 come with adaptive headlights enabled, or just the usual high/low toggle for auto?

The adaptive lights are better in that they can keep the side of the road lit with brighter light while still dimming the road area for oncoming traffic. I had to enable them using Forscan on my 21 lariat, but IIRC the federal government finally allowed them for use in the US, so they might be enabled on your truck

Mine has it its a 502A package. Probably would have helped if wasn't my 1st "night drive".
