Armrest noise

Somehow, there is a coin or something similar in the flip up portion of my armrest that folds out to grade the workspace. Does anyone know how to remove the padded cover portion so I can take out whatever's in there?

I would take it into the dealer for warranty. A plastic piece could have broken off and that's what rattling around. If you can't see into the arm rest somewhere, how can something get in?

Well, here's something I learned the hard way. Ford says they do not cover noises under warranty. I know that I can fight the good fight and hopefully get them to do some work on it. But my local dealer never wants to because they don't expect to be reimbursed.

My dealership did warranty repairs on my truck 3 or 4 times. I have copies of the RO's.
