Anyone install 2024 OEM LED bed lights

I purchased a new bumper/tailight harness that has all the correct wires. My issue is from the BCM to the new harness I have no wires in Pin 28 and 31. I believe one is power to the switch and the other is power to the LEDs. I can tap the cargo light or maybe the cargo lamp switch in the dash and provide power, but I want to try and go the OEM route.

Did you confirm in your truck at the C408 plug you have the appropriate wires on the truck side?

Yes I have the correct wires on the truck side of my harness. What trim do you have?

There are only 2 wires that you need to add. If it was me I would figure out what bcm controls those 2 wires and run the 2 wires to the bcm.

Yeah, that is what I want to do. One thing I learned doing my 12v ambient lighting mod is the BCM, even if I made new harnesses or installed new harnesses to make ambient plug and play, the BCM lacks the "logic" to control the ambient lights...that was from Jesse at infotainment. If I had a push to start ignition it could have been done. None the less, those light will illuminated. I will not be defeated!

One of my future projects is ambient lighting with electroluminescent wire I just haven't decided where I want to put it besides on the center console. F150leds sells a console kit for $50 but I found everything on Amazon to make the same lighting for a fraction of the cost.

That's nice. I want to do blue too. Are you using the EL wire lights?

No, I just used regular 12v LEDs. Whole circuit runs from the console light. Unused many of the factory lights, gutted them and converted them to a 12v application and built a harness using the harness John Foreman built for me.

Thank you to GR8BBQ! I got this done for about $80 using lights from eBay, Ford harnesses on the side and making my own harness to connect everything. Your pictures and descriptions rocked.

Thanks! I love the fact that it all works like a factory option was ordered. I can control from the cab or from the bed, and the lights fade just like factory. Glad to see it's helping!

how 2025 F150 lariat I would like to put the bed lights, but can’t find the correct wiring harness

I know which one to use for a 2025 XLT PB 2.4 KW Pro Power, but I don't know which one to use for a Lariat. I am pretty sure if you go back to the beginning of this thread someone had a Lariat and may have the same options you have.
