I looked into this for my 2024 PB...I need the mirrors to fold in order for the truck to fit into the garage. You need to purchase the two mirrors, (ML3Z-17696-DA) Two wire harnesses (one for each door... RL3Z-14631-E, RL3Z-14630-L), a memory switch (ML3Z--14776-AA), a coverplate (ML3Z-14527-BD), and a fold switch (ML3Z-14529-CD). Once installed, you need to get into Forscan and change the coding so the truck knows what you did. I haven't done it yet bc one of the wire harnesses has been on back order for ages, but reading threads some people have done it successfully. (Part numbers for your truck might be different). Total cost a little over $2k

Unfortunately they're only available from Ford. The 360 camera tow mirrors are power fold and power extend. They are unfortunately quite expensive.

I lucked out and found mirrors from another board member that had the cameras in them (my XLT also had 360 cameras) and I bought the harness for the drivers door, added the wires for the passenger door, installed the telescope switch and trim panel, and new window switch with the power fold option on it and made the changes in FORScan to get mine working. I believe the only thing not working is the white light on the side of the mirrors when you unlock/lock the truck, but everything else works - BLIS, 360 camera, heated mirror, puddle lights, turn signal indicators, power fold and telescope. I even have them programmed to fold in when I lock the truck and unlock after the drivers door has been opened and closed. All in, I did it for about $1500. I also replaced the chrome caps with black textured caps ($63 included in the total) but if you want chrome, that's your call. My truck has the BAP and chrome with all that black doesn't look right. One of the best upgrades I did on my truck. I hated the small mirrors they put on the truck from the factory.

You can only get the powerfold/telescope mirrors with chrome caps but you can get the manual fold and manual telescope with black caps. That was why I swapped the caps to black on mine.

All great advice here. Thank you so much for this. I would like to get this upgrade but now kinda trying to figure out how to put the whole thing together once I source the parts from Ford.

I dont know how to wire these and will need some help, support, videos on how to do it.

Should not be difficult I am sure, however the other thing that kinda worries me is the cost of this. I dont think I will be as lucky as @Griffalo here

What is the best way to order these, I am hoping there are authorized sellers of ford parts that may offer some sort of discount on these.

This is the deal from Fairway Ford for the mirrors. It comes with the switch cover. You will need the switch and the wiring harness (or you can add the wires to your harness to get it done much cheaper. The harness is about $200+ now. This set of mirrors has the chrome caps, power fold and telescope. You can look on eBay and watch the market sections on the forums and you might get lucky on the mirrors. Just get mirrors from a 21-23 F150 and make sure they have all the same features and you'll be good to go. Your truck may have the harness already and you just need to plug them in and configure with FORScan to get them working.

There's several good threads on here for doing this (it's where I got my information from). And you can probably hit up Jesse over at Infotainment.com for more assistance. I think the below thread has a lot of helpful information in it that should help you out.

Since you have a 2023 Platinum the wiring should be in the door already.

I totally missed that it was a Platinum. Yeah, it "should" have the harness with the connectors, but we all know how Ford short-changed a lot of these trucks. You can probably pull the door panel off and see if the connector for the power telescope switch is there. If it is, you're good. Just plug the mirrors in and turn things on with FORScan and you should be good to go.

Sounds like a plan. Will secure the mirrors first and then take it from there. Thanks so much people, you guys are awesome.

Griffala-
I’m interested in swapping the chrome caps for black caps as well. Can you tell me where you got that part (part number?) and the process of popping the old ones off and new ones on? Pretty straight forward?
Congrats!
im about to pull the trigger on all the parts to do this project on my 2024 PB. A little concerned about swapping my mirror’s cameras and doing the Forscan stuff…but am sure I’ll figure it out (I hope!). Total cost is approx $2k

I'm surprised I found the list of parts from when I did this (even though it's only been a few months ago) but here's the number for the mirror caps:

Lt. Mirror cover HC3Z-17D743-AA
Rt. mirror cover HC3Z-17D742-AA

I bought them from Fairway Ford, but you might be able to save a few pennies on them. I'll have to find the video that shows how to take the caps off, but you have to remove the mirror glass to do it. There is one tab that you can't reach that will probably break off when you go to remove the chrome caps, but it won't affect the new ones.

Swapping the cameras is easy to do. Just be careful getting the cover off the old ones and off the new mirrors. Once the covers are off, there is only two screws holding the camera in. Pay attention to the orientation of the cameras when you remove them and make sure the new cameras (removed from your old mirrors) go in the correct way.

Here's the video. It's from PTT with Arod.

The second video shows how to replace the gears and motors for powerfold/telescope mirrors.

Hope this helps and if you have questions, just ask. I'll answer what I can and tell you if I can't.
