Antimatter Blue is BLACK

Finally laid eyes on a 2021 F250 in Antimatter Blue. It is BLACK unless you shine a bright light on it. Then you see blue metallic color. So 95% of the truck will always look black. I had read similar comments but wanted to wait and see for myself. It was all true unfortunately. Cancelling order for Limited and placing order for Lariot Sport in hopes that it will show up before next Christmas. If you are wanting a BLUE truck don’t pick Antimatter Blue.

When I first saw it was in the shade. I had the salesperson move it right next to a metal building with the sun shining directly on it. The curvature areas had a the blue look. The other 95% remained black. I really wanted this to be a blue to match my 14 Daytona Blue StreetGlide but it was black. Even the salesperson said and I quote ‘it’s a black truck’. Hope this helps.

I think it’s going to be a really unique color and will look great in the shade or in bright sunlight. I’m holding off on placing my order till I see AMB but I’ve almost made up my mind that I’m going to like it. My last 3 vehicles have been ruby red or red fire and I want something different.

That’s funny. My last 2 both Lariot were Badge and White Gold both with tan interiors. 17 years worth and I’m also looking for a change. Going with Rapid Red so I’ll pick up that torch for you. Good luck with your ‘black’ truck ?

I changed mine to star white after seeing the pictures of antimatter blue.

Great pic. Shows blue on curvatures but rest still looks black to me.

It looks like that truck just arrived at the dealer. It’s dirty and the blue will really pop once it’s cleaned up.

The one I looked at had just left the detail shop and was clean as a whistle. Looked like the picture.

I think I'm in the minority here but I love how that blue looks. I like how dark it is and how the blue pops when the sun hits it just right. Can't wait to get mine.

I had a Ford Edge that was some crazy sparkling black. Tuxedo Black
From what I’ve seen, it looks like Animator has the a similar sparkle to it.

Tuxedo Black was a very nice shade of black.......very unique and different and I was surprised Ford dropped it.
