Okay, before I receive commentary on there’s multiple threads on the same topic- hear me out.

If this doesn’t apply or interest you, kindly skip reading this. If you or someone you know has these symptoms please DM me for side conversation.

I have 11K miles on my truck- all stock with no drivetrain mods (yet). I have new Mickey Thompson ATs 295/70R18 and a Falcon Tow/Haul leveling kit to be installed in a few days. For the past two weeks, I’ve really noticed this low grade “hum” which sounds almost like music with loud bass- ya know that low end bzzzz like cans rattling in the trunk? Additionally it seems noticeable above 20 and drowns out at 65. I don’t feel it in the steering wheel or pedal, rather I feel it in the truck as a whole. Again a low induced hum which the noise can be overcame by turning up the volume, but I can still feel the vibration. IMO, it seems like the body panels have some weird harmonics induced while driving. I can see it vibrate in the mirrors too as if I had a big sub woofer (which I don’t). I took it to the dealer and made an appointment, but have a month to wait. They sent a tech to go ride with me to see if he noticed anything. He did say he could sort of hear/feel it, but also the typical response- these issues are extremely hard to identify the cause. For me, it was to document the event BEFORE I put on the aftermarket suspension and tires.

So, for those of you whom may have had similar issues, what has worked for you? There’s nothing worse than having warranty issues and not being able to use your truck. Meanwhile it sits there because they (Ford) will invest little time (money) to find the problem. If it takes too long they have to get approval to have additional service work done. I’ve had this happen in my past where they kept my truck for over 3 months. Any feedback welcomed and sorry for my rant- these issues can be frustrating.
