I've spent several hours researching onboard modems, SYNC settings, and Sirius XM settings. The problem I have is a problem I know several folks have encountered. I haven't seen a solution though, and I need one. I'm going to contact the Ford Pass people today to see if they can help. My modem is working flawlessly - except for when it comes to receiving the SXM streaming channels that I should be receiving with the Platinum plan I pay for. I currently still have about a month of the Platinum trial left from the truck being new. By the way, the truck is a 2024 F-150 King Ranch SCREW. I had a 2020 and a 2022 that both had what I'd call "pandemic problems". For a couple of years, quality control went out the window. This truck has no issues that I or Ford can find. So, the crazies at SXM told me that I had to have the dealership fix whatever problem the truck and / or modem had. There is no problem. Everything else that relies on the connected services works perfectly - Blue Cruise, navigation, Ford Pass, etc. When I go to direct tune a streaming channel, say channel 724, the channel preview box pops up and isn't grayed out. But when I tap on it to go there, SXM just stays on the current non-streaming channel. As you can see in the attached picture, channel 703 isn't grayed out. If you have connected services turned off, that little preview box is gray and says connected services is off.
Does anyone have an answer to this? I unplugged the modem like alot of people suggested but that did nothing. I spent two hours total in three calls to SXM and nothing. Help!? Thanks folks.
