Ive noticed when monitoring the truck is reporting there is an overall Ampere Hour Charge Loss of 1.0Amp while truck is both off/on. Is this value correct and something I should investigate further? And is it something I should be concerned about long term? It was just in the shop for 2 weeks with a gateway control module issue and is looks like the technician stepped through everything correctly so I would be surprised if he didn't notice a consistent draw.
Thanks!

Nothing to be concerned about. These trucks power a lot of electronics with the key off. When the drain gets too low they change to power save mode and disable functions (stop sensing the key on approach, turn off the wifi for the FordPass application, stop auto updates,...). It does this to preserve your battery so your truck will still start.

What took me awhile to recognize... is the truck is always "on." Whether the engine is running (or in hybrid mode) does not indicate that the truck is "on." We are still in the mode of thinking that, as in the "good ole days," when you turn it off and pull the key, everything is off and the battery should be seeing zero current flow. No longer true. The way your truck recognizes your approach and unlocks the door is it is "on" and sensing the nearness of your key Fob. So the issue is whether there is a current drain larger than design for the condition the truck is in. In my experience through three Wyoming winters (EG -30ºF) with engine off stand times of several days to a week, the truck will take care of itself all things being equal.
