I found using silicone spray made a big improvement to getting cables through .I need to get the amp power cable through the firewall on the passenger side. I have cut the nipple off the rubber grommet on the firewall that is behind the distribution box and was able to push a coat hanger through the second rubber grommet wall but can’t get the coat hanger to drop down where I can find it so I can tape the power cable to the coat hanger and pull it through. Do you have any ideas, tips or tricks to get the power cable through the firewall?
Starting with a metal coat hangar pushing through both skins , then attaching the cables , apply more silicone spray and pull through . Be very careful of existing looms .
Worked for me
