I am in Ontario, Canada and this dealership is located in Scarborough. This is for a 2021 XLT 302a high with the 2.7 ecoboost and 4x4 option.

The net price is $54,709 on the Ford.ca builder.

The total on my build sheet from the dealer is $58,709 which includes a sub total of $56,695 + $1950(destination charge) + $100(air excise charge). I don’t know if this is the net price or if there are additional taxes and fees or any deductions to be applied.

This is for a 3yr lease and I will be paying a $3100 down payment and $262 biweekly.

Does this make sense? Will I or am I not getting any discounts?

Up to this point all I’ve done is pay a $1000 deposit for him to submit my build to Ford. He’s already given me the amounts that I will be paying without any type of documentation with the cost breakdown or final amounts. I don’t really know much about this kind of stuff but I don’t think I’m getting any kind of deals or incentives but I could be wrong.

This dealership claims to be the highest volume seller in either the entire province or country, I can’t remember what he said and I think this is their excuse for the lack of knowledge about any of their vehicles and willingness to actually help you find what you really want and help you get a good deal.

Compared to other dealers in the entire country, based on a search on autotrader, they do have some of the best prices but these are for stock models. I don’t think they care much for custom builds.

Are you seeking american input as well? I have no idea if Canada pricing translates at exactly the exchange rate, or if the base equivalent price is higher in Canada.

Same here, I don’t know what rates they use but I’ll take input from anyone. I may be wrong but I think the folks in the states get better numbers.

It's hard to say without more details but that doesn't sound like the best deal. People are getting the following deal in Ontario and various other locations in Canada right now. There is a big thread on Redflagdeals about it right now and it's been mentioned on another f150 forum:

2021 Ford F-150 4x4 Lariat 502A SuperCrew 5.5' Box
Chrome or Sport Package
2.7L V6
~$95/week, 24 month lease
Freight and Air Tax down ($2000)
16,000km/ year
2.99% APR

The deal probably ends at the end of this month and some dealers have stopped offering it since it's probably cutting into their allocation? It looks like you're paying more money for less truck (Lariat vs XLT), the 2 year lease is cheaper right now. You can up the km's to 20,000 per year for another 1% residual. The discounts I've seen are:
-$1500 discount for Lariat w/ 2.7l 502a
-$500 for FX$ and 20" rims
-$4000 delivery allowance from Ford
-$1000 (after tax) rebate for early order bonus.

-Plus any additional discount your dealer will give you

Try building your truck on the build and price section of the Ford.ca site, match your term and down payment and enter a "trade in" amount until you come out with the payment they gave you. That "trade in" will essentially be the dealer discount for calculator on the site.

Hope that helps.

Also to add to this. You can see real deals people are getting here:

Note: all of these are factory order, not stock. If you want to drive one off the lot, you need to adjust for the $1K factory incentive.
