Aftermarket remote start on F150 Powerboost?

I was wondering if anyone has encounter this yet, is it possible to add remote start to a PB F150?

The company I work for rents our trucks from Enterprise and because of this I do not have access to Ford Pass.

I just got the email informing me my new truck (2024 F150 PB XLT 301A) is at the shop to get outfitted. The shop is suppose to install remote start if the truck is not already equipped (they use Viper remotes), but I was just informed that they were unsuccessful in installing the remote start. They said that in the viper system there were no options for the PB platform, but they tried to install a remote for one of the other engine platforms and were unsuccessful.

Any suggestions? I know other remote start platforms exists but do they work?

One of my coworkers has a StartX remote in their 21 5.0 XLT, if I take possession of my PB without remote start I will try his StartX to see if it works.

I normally recommend going with an OEM accessory remote start if a factory installed system isn't an option. It looks like Ford offers one for your truck, but with the 2024MY being so new, it might be worth calling them to verify fitment.

I don’t know about about the 2024 PB but you can add remote start if it comes with perimeter start and you upgrade it as I did on my 2023 PB maybe. It came with jumpers in the kit Or maybe the dealer can do it for you If you have the full alarm package.
