Accessing Trailer service menu

Look on p. 361 under “Connecting a Trailer.” This is the only place I’ve seen a reference to the maintenance reminders we’re talking about. No picture, but it sounds like what we briefly saw. https://www.fordservicecontent.com/...per_Duty_Owners_Manual_version_1_om_EN-US.pdf

Oh yeah!! So weird. Seems like I should be able to find it online then.

Plugged in the trailer yesterday and saw it again. Once you click okay to anything, the menus disappear and I can’t get them back. Also, it doesn’t pop up every time that I plug in, like there has to be a delay or something.

I haven’t seen it again but I’ll be on the lookout. At least you got a picture of it this time. But the same thing happened to me. As soon as you dismiss it, it’s gone. No way to retrieve it on demand.

WOW i have not seen this either
one would think we could access it to set the parameters
thansk for grabbing a pic, now we know for sure HAL has it in there, but now we need to know why are only a few people seeing this??



when you created the profile for your trailer, did you get any prompts about service ???

I did not. I only started seeing it (actually, saw it only once) after the last APIM update, same as @Steyreo.

APIM update via ford at a service center?

i tried to load a new trailer today and was only asked weight, height, length , brakes etc and if i wanted to be prompted about weight when starting up?

the checklist , with an ability to add maintenance checks is smart..i sure wish we could figure it out

I updated the APIM myself with FDRS. The prompts you got were the same prompts everybody gets when setting up a new trailer.

‘21 Lariat PB. Don’t really know what it did (I haven’t noticed any material changes) but it was the same update that was circulating in March/April as Power Up 4.2.2 that brought the Sync version to 23031.
