I guess I am not the only one who is having this issue!

By fiddling with the temp dial, I can achieve the temperature that feels comfortable which tells me the AC as well as the heater actually work.

However, there is little corelation between the temperature shown on the screen VS the actual temperature.. There are days when 68 is a comfortable temperature and there are days when 76 is a comfortable temperature..

I do wish Ford would find a solution!
I find heat load into the windshield or through the sun roof plays hell with keeping 70...feeling like 70
The heat bounce off dash flat surfaces is it times brutal

Me too… I dont understand how this got out of testing. Vehicles built 15+ years ago can regulate temp just fine. I shouldn’t have to keep touching the buttons. I’m hoping it’ll be addressed in a software update.

I haven't found the magic settings that make it behave like it's on auto.
In the winter when first starting up it'll turn on the A/C - just what i need first thing in the morning - a blast of icy arctic air in the face.
Other times the temp in the truck seems okay, until it delivers a stream of hot air from the vents for seemingly no reason.
For awhile, I was thinking it worked okay if I left it at 62. But recently it works pretty much exactly the same if i set it to 68. its almost as if the temp dial is a dummy, put there to make me think its doing something.
It didnt occur to me to take it in (my first Ford), I just figured its another piece of high techiness that doesn't work ... kinda like the rain sensing wipers, which are another poor joke.
Here's a question - suppose I press the AUTO button and the LEDs light up telling me the maximum auto fan speed. A few minutes later its annoyingly blowing hot/cold air so i manually reduce the fan speed. The LEDs go out. Is it still in AUTO mode? Semi-AUTO? Manual? I dunno...
Climate-wise, what I would really like are three simple, manual controls - one for temperature (and A/C on-off), one for fan speed, and a way to easily control which vents are active. I really dislike how in the F150 you have to push between three and five buttons to control the air flow, including use of the touch screen which requires me to take my eyes off the road.
Forget the auto stuff ... I'm happy to leave that to more competent designers.
Strangely though, I really like the truck despite it's inexcusable quirks.

Same with my ‘23. My ‘22 seemed to be much better in the auto setting which is all I use.

from everything I read and forums I see and discussion I find regard to gen 14 f150. for some odd reason most that I see and read with issues from f150 are year 2021 and 2023 and some on 2024. I could be wrong on this but seems to be the year that trucks has some issue Of some sort. I barely see any issue on 2022 f150. i Could be wrong though but so far I have not have any issue on my mine (2022 pb) at 25k km on mine.
