98% SoC for 12V Battery

The PB’s DC/DC converter charged it to 98% on its own during my drive today. I’ve never seen it charge this high. Typically the highest I’ve seen is like 91%. Not sure if this is bad for the battery since Ford algorithm tries to keep it at 85%.

If your ambient temperatures are cold, the system keeps voltage higher. There is a curve for charge voltage versus temperature. I've seen those kind of numbers on my truck.

Every now and then I get an arbitrary low and sometimes an arbitrary high. Soon after the last high mark, I got updates. Not sure if its related and definitely not sure of Ford's algorithm

As long as I begin a long drive with LV battery at 100% SOC I will always end the trip at 100% SOC.

I have never understood why Ford believes keeping the SOC at 100% is a bad thing, while in the RV world it's stressed, after drawing down the SOC to 50% or lower, to bring them back to SOC a soon as reasonably possible.
