Hello all,
I have a 2021 stx 5.0 and the 8 inch screen is very laggy. Say you press the volume up/down on the sterring wheel it takes a good 2 to 3 seconds before the volume wheel and number pops up on the screen. Same way when swiping screens left and right, a good 2 to 3 seconds before the screen actually moves. The small screen in between the tach and speedometer is the same way as well, slow and jittery going between menus. Have any of yall that has the same size screens experienced this? Is something going on with the screens themselves? Thanks guys

I think I have the 12" screen and it lags too. It seems to have gotten worse with the recent update. Maybe Ford's files are getting to big and the processor is too small?

I don't think my ~4" dashboard screen lags as bad.

That sucks but atleast maybe its not just the 8 in screen. Im all confused on the updates. Im not sure if the 8 in screens get the same updates as you guys or not.

Yeah I have noticed the same with my 8inch screen. The steering wheel buttons seem to be the slowest to respond to volume changes. I found that if I’m using the actual volume knob it is slower/more laggy if I’m rolling the knob quickly through the detents. I found that the knobs respond almost immediately to changes if I use the knob and roll through one click at a time rather than quickly rolling the knob. I guess mine likes a more gentle touch ?
