8/2 Build Week

Just as an added data point, my sequence number is 6156 in Dearborn with a blend date of 8/5, so if they DO produce about 1300 trucks a day, and Cbaka27 above with a date of 8/4 has a number of 4328. Mine is about 1800 behind that, one day later, so it seems to sync up pretty well. Cbaka's probably will start down the line early on Wednesday, and mine will follow about 1800 trucks behind later on Thursday.

Also, it just struck me about the sheer -awesomeness- of the assembly line production process. I mean, these are big, super-complex vehicles (we all know how much that complexity can cost!), but Ford is building HUNDREDS of these every day... like, one every minute or something. That still just blows my mind.

I just called my dealer to verify all my dates and such, and he says that my truck is being built today, which is weird since my build day is 8/4... I mean, I hope he is right, but maybe they are ahead of schedule? I can hope, right? RIGHT?!?!

I have not heard of trucks being build before the blend date. I hope they are right.

KC Blend date 08/06 - 5129. Tracker doesn't list a production date yet for me.

From what I have been seeing the blend date is the build date. It should be on your window sticker.
