Hey Friends,

I'm getting my 6112s installed this Thursday. Is anyone here running them at the 2.5" setting? If so, are you using aftermarket UCAs? My usage is about 95% city/highway and 5% on mild fire roads, maybe once every other month. The off-road use is light—nothing intense or prolonged.

Do I need new UCAs at 2.5"?
I don't want any rake, would adding a .5 or 1" block to the rear (additional to the existing block) level me out?

My setup getting installed this week is the following:

Method wheels 18x9 +12 Offset
Falken AT4w 285/70/18 Load C
6112 Front, 5160 rears.

I'll post pics one it's done.

bilstein doesnt spec these as needing UCA's. however, uca's that give you more caster is always a nice thing for highway handling. itll feel less twitchy. that being said, you're probably just fine, itll be more of want vs a need.

Thanks for that, I ended up not getting UCAs. Started at a hair under 37.5 inches and now a hair under 40. Perch setting 5.

Methods and Falkens will be here Saturday, will make another post once it's all set up and installed.

Braking is much more linear doesn't feel lumpy or like i'm lunging forward during hard braking if that makes sense. No more body roll when turning, much more responsive as a truck. It remains to be compliant with not much noticeable stiffness. Potholes, bumps and road joints are slightly more noticeable but compliance is for the most part near stock.
