Thought I would just check on things last evening, a wonderful surprise came. Truck showed shipped!
Looked again a few hours later and It said it was in final prep at the dealer. Getting excited!

I count 6 out of 17 regular cab builds mine included, and this is far from a realistic sample of the overall F150 production. This must of been one of the few times a year when Ford scheduled a batch of regular cab Unicorn builds.

Heading to the dealer to pick it up!

Picked up my truck this morning! in and out in 20 min.

will get pics up in a bit. installing stuff. cover on. bed mat and tailgate cover on. Wheel liners in.
floor mats in........yes this was a process. those little posts that snap onto mat needed installed.
just have to get mud flaps and bug guard on. then I will get some pic.

9 miles on it at delivery. 50 now.

RCBS. 5.0. 3.73 = holy f!@#%@#$%@$ crap. she scoots.

Found another benefit of chosing the $250 LT tire option. I have the same spare...General Grabber.

Lariot - any update on your hold?

Sounds like you are on some chip or quality hold. If Ford doesnt show status of shipped, it hasnt shipped.

I would call Ford, not chat. They usually have a little info for you. Do not rely on the tracker. If it shipped, Ford will have railcar or convy info. If not, they will be able to tell you if its on chip hold.

I got a printout from my salesman showing that it's at ramp 15 KC Plant and does indicate a chip hold. The ETA still says 8/4 - 8/10 and still shows in the tracker as "scheduled for production". Not completely clear to me but it seems it's (mostly) built but waiting on a chip. The salesmen expressed optimism that it's getting the chip any day but I'm skeptical.

Lariot - any update on your hold?

Still “awaiting shipment” with no answers. Original ETA passed and current ETA is 8/14-8/20. I haven’t been told that I’m on any sort of chip hold.
