5/20/24 Build Week Info Thread

I ordered my truck in early April and have a scheduled build week of 5/20/24.

Thought it might be useful if others with the same build week had a place to share our communications (or lack there of) from Ford about our builds.

Mine is a RCSB XL 4X4 with the 103A package and spray in bed liner. I checked a few other boxes but the liner is the only one that might delay my build as far as I know.

My truck will be built in KC and then has to be shipped to So Calif.

I will post progress here.

Eleventh digit of VIN - K= KC MO plant F= Detroit MI plant

Edit - I incorrectly said M was for the Detroit plant. F is the Detroit plant.

Ordered 3/22, build week 5/20. Last updated date on tracker said 4/23. Ford chat on 4/23 said that build date is set for 5/21. That doesn't reflect in the tracker though.

That is likely your blend date, that should probably show on the Window Sticker when it becomes available.

Your build is scheduled during the week of 5/20 but yours specifically is on the date of 5/21.

8 May 2024, another disappointing Thursday, 185 days since I placed my for a 2024 F150 Platinum, SuperCrew, Rapid Red Metallic Clear Coat, 702A, Hybrid, FX4, Retractable Tonneau Cover, Spray in Bedliner and a few other nice to have features. I still do not have even a build date. With the F150 plants closing the first two weeks of July, who knows when I will get a build date.

Scheduled for 5/20 week. As of today it went into "production" and I received my window sticker a few hours ago with a blend date of 05/22.

Interesting. Yours is being built in Dearborn and mine is KC so maybe Dearborn is ahead with their emails or KC is behind. Also I wonder if Canada is getting a priority right now.
