I just want to add that this new truck is a rocket. I can't speak for the 5.0 guys but I pulled out onto a highway tonight and dropped the pedal and wow....just wow. I thought my 2013 3.5 was quick but this truck would eat that up.
Just completed my first six-hour road trip in the truck. Mostly just been toodling around town in and out and watching MPGs. Did a lot of highway driving today and tried letting it eat one time... Its able to get up and go and let's just say it'll go a heck of a lot faster top speed than I ever want to go and it gets up there in a hurry!

My tires were in the low 40s as well. Ford actually recommends pumping them up if it is going to sit for a while. I thought that it would have been a good thing to do when they were sitting. But, I was a bit surprised that the dealer did drop them back to the recommended 35 psi when they completed their check over.
I wondered if that was the reason.

The first week and a bit was pretty busy with appointments for the truck. I think the wife is starting to get angry.? One last appointment to have the cap windows tinted and ppf on headlights and fogs. That won't happen until September as they are booked up.

Washed her up today after having it oil sprayed yesterday and don't like how the gatorbacks are sitting on the rear. Going to loosen them off later today and fix or my ocd will get me going crazy.

I see you removed the decals on the back quarter, I did that too! Looks so much cleaner!

Yeah, I didn't like the XTR logo back there. Was something they removed during PDI.

Mine just had the generic 4x4 decals, I peeled them the first time I washed the truck, no effort st all and left little residue behind. Your truck looks great, is it black or antimatter?

Thank you, it is the Agate Black. Slowly getting it to where I want it. Brought our 5000lbs travel trailer home today so I could setup a equal-i-zer weight distribution hitch. She towed pretty amazing. So far, very happy with this 3.5 eco.

Hope to get bug deflector on this week, couple of rock chips already. Then it's almost time to start looking for winter tires. Sled season can't come soon enough.

Couple of photos from today when picking up trailer.

I really like those wheels but unfortunately they just don't hold up well where I live. Years ago, Pennsylvania starting putting this liquid salt brine on the roads before a storm and it just eats chrome wheels if you have to drive in it.

Looks great, mine is also agate black and it does have a very slight blue hue in certain light! Loving the color. I think I am going to add color match mirror caps and I think that will be it!

Southern Ontario uses the brine too. Looking for new wheels for summer and these will be for winters. I wash my vehicles a lot and gives these types of wheels a little extra care. Clean them really well before storing is key. I also give them a coat of the Mothers Chrome Polish every couple of months. If they are anything like my old cruze or atlas wheels they should hold up pretty well for the 4 months they are used.

Now to start looking at all the reviews for snow tires. I have used Blizzaks in the past on SUV and super happy with them, will have to see whats out there.
