Exactly, i ran my 2016 at around 37-38 when the door sticker had them at 35. I noticed the tire pressure info on the display and ford pass app as 45, i just assumed bigger sidewall, 4x4 etc etc, then noticed the door sticker was at 35 also. going to depressurize to around 37 this weekend. i had noticed the ride was pretty hard, again put i down to the 4x4, now i know why!
It's going to feel like a completely different truck after you take that much air out.

Well, I've added spray-in bullet liner, fender flares, tailgate rustic flag sticker (many compliments), aftermarket floor liners, amp bed step, glass screen protector, front tints, 295 /70/18s waiting on level kit..
Fyi... Don't forget to update your old dried out tire plug kit (mine was dried out and roached) and emergency 12v air compressor... ✅.

Now.... Stuff to be here This week....
I've got UNDERCOVER Armorflex tonneau, swing out toolboxes , bushwhacker trail armor rocker panel protector, level kit for those tires to get put on...

Long delay: Covercraft.com
rear seat covers (kids and dogs) ....On the way no eta... ??

Fyi the EGR fender flares most sites are selling doesn't fit 21 ..at least mine. Bushwhackers were fine with a little play/ not tight on bottom of back wheel wells, otherwise tight and look good....

Now............
I only need a grill / brush guard to finish this off.. where can I get something that will work with front camera, adaptive cruise and front bumper parking sensors?
Ranch hand is months out back ordered as is Westin for the hdx, who only gave me a future part number ( 574085 ) but hasnt apparently started development yet.
Frontier appears to make a good product but also backordered and new to me.
Thunderstruck? Another one that seems to claim work with cameras and sensors....
I can't drive down my dirt road without a brush guard in the rut........ Hook me up

I'm running at 37 from the dealer\delivery and all is very well so far.

Very close fit.
That taped on rubber seal is supposed to be pressed tight against the vehicle as it is the rest of the way around. With it not even touching definitely not ideal and will end up coming off. Not the end of the world I'll just have to cut it off where it stops unraveling

The first week and a bit was pretty busy with appointments for the truck. I think the wife is starting to get angry.? One last appointment to have the cap windows tinted and ppf on headlights and fogs. That won't happen until September as they are booked up.

Washed her up today after having it oil sprayed yesterday and don't like how the gatorbacks are sitting on the rear. Going to loosen them off later today and fix or my ocd will get me going crazy.

Finally finished the all the polishing. Process started with a good bath then Adams X Iron remover. Then followed a paint correction using a Meguiars compound, then two coats of Chemical guys butter wet wax and finally a coat of 303 graphene nano spray. That hopefully will last me at least a year. You can't really tell from the pics because of the overcast day but it really shines.

In between I replaced the antenna with a 13 inch and added the tailgate letters and tonneau cover . Next will be the front and back Ford emblems, black lug nuts and replacing the chrome exhaust tip with black.

Black mirror caps and wheel liners already on order and waiting for a LineX quote.
Nice looking truck.

How did the mirror caps turn out? I’d like to replace the chrome caps when I finally get my truck. Where did you order from and are they easy to swap?

My tires were in the low 40s as well. Ford actually recommends pumping them up if it is going to sit for a while. I thought that it would have been a good thing to do when they were sitting. But, I was a bit surprised that the dealer did drop them back to the recommended 35 psi when they completed their check over.
Same here my tires were at 42, now 35 psi.

I just want to add that this new truck is a rocket. I can't speak for the 5.0 guys but I pulled out onto a highway tonight and dropped the pedal and wow....just wow. I thought my 2013 3.5 was quick but this truck would eat that up.
