Mine finally arrived in Orlando Saturday night and got to my dealer in Clermont yesterday morning. I'm going out of town today so that was perfect. Spectre466 yours must have traveled with mine as far as Orlando. Good luck, it's probably at your dealer today!

Mine had a couple of scratches below the right rear passenger door and a chip on the top of that door where it was opened into something. Inside was like new and smelled new too. Lots of dirt on the outside in places the prep guys didn't clean well, but when I drove it home it rained like hell so maybe some of that washed away. I didn't bother to look at the pumpkin, I was pressed for time.

Like everyone else has said, this truck is a dream. It rides so smooth and quiet and the acceleration is not much different that a Cadillac CTS V-Sport I used to have, and that was a twin turbo 6 too. It's really fast 0-70, that's as fast as I drove it.

I saw at my dealer that he had one F-150 in the showroom and it was $2000 over sticker for "market adjustment". That's bad but they had a Shelby Mustang that was $20,000 over sticker. That's REALLY bad. I used X-Plan and there wasn't any problem with increased price. I've read in this forum that Ford is offering two years of scheduled maintenance free or $500 off the price to compensate for the long wait, but my dealer couldn't find anything about it and didn't give it to me. Maybe that's a zone by zone offer.

This has been a strange experience but there's no one to blame, it's all because of the Covid. From what I've read there's no point delaying until the '22s are available because it's going to be just as slow getting one. If you have one in the pipeline keep it coming, eventually you'll be happy you did.
Cool Rod. You know the rules. Post that thang when you can! Congrats, bro!

I wonder if the 500 dollar / 2 year was a dealer specific thing? I cannot find anything on it either.

@ScottBB my truck finally arrived at the dealer. I have rust similar to what is showing on your trucks. What exactly is your dealer doing to address/fix your rust issue? Is there a specific process or products they are using?
Well, what I was told is they are removing the rust, spraying with a rust inhibitor, and then painting it black. Not sure what they are using.

I'm still waiting on my $100 Amazon gift card. It looks like that could also be a regional thing. We've learned in this forum and others that the Ford regional representative is the gate keeper of information. A good Ford rep can get information and pass it along, so I wonder if the same thing is true for all these little differences we're seeing. Of course, @ScottBB likely got the gift card AND the $500/2year warranty. Lol. His dealer got connections.

I got the $100 Amazon gift card on one of the trucks but not the other, I believe because one truck was delivered to me one or two days before that came out so I only got it for the one that was still on hold at the time. I have not gotten the $500/2 year warranty but that is new information to me and I haven't asked yet either lol.

I agree. I think an additional consideration that needs to be added for third-party (heck maybe even ESP) is how much of a fight will they put up to prevent a truck from getting repaired. I needed a catalytic converter replaced on my previous car, but the warranty I had said that that repair is considered normal maintenance. Catalytic converter repairs are EXPENSIVE. Another time I needed an engine mount replaced, but I was told that I already had the warranty folks pay for an engine mount years ago! I had renewed my warranty since then, but it didn't matter. I had a bad experience for sure. ?
I agree with you. I had an extended with an outside party and they did everything not to cover.

TADA! Interestingly when the dealer/partner added the spray-in liner, they forgot to connect the plugs to the battery in the bed. Didn't realize until saw the error with the Gen setting when got home. You can see it hanging at the back of the pic. Took a quick second to connect them so not an issue. I'm very satisfied with my dealer and too excited to raise some cane. Actually give me a chance to check out the rest of the belly for any rust. Made a quick video for documentation and all looks pretty good.

Anyone tried one of those hail protectors? At $500 seems like a good investment. On YouTube seen a fella throw a baseball at it with no issue, but wouldn't recommend it.

I am still at ‘in production’ with delivery set at 8/18. Dealer says new report no change. My trailer is now built and they are looking for a check.

Hopefully they'll fall back if you let them know your truck ETA is 8/18. It's weird how some trucks, like mine, ship out quickly while others are awaiting shipment or stuck in in-production status.

I have a question. Have you checked and pushed the fuses in? The fuse boxes are shipped to FORD and then placed in the truck. The fuses are 80% or more not completely pushed in. This can cause intermittent electrical/computer issues. Sounds simple but just check. I know both of mine all but 5 were not completely clicked in. Also, on Jeeps, there is a second battery for the ESS, and I know that a low battery on them can cause these issues, not sure of the FORD system yet but I would assume a faulty battery may cause these issues as well.
Good tip @ScottBB, about 90% of the fuses in the fuse box under the hood were not fully set. Some of them were surprisingly loose. I also checked the fuse box in the passenger side, those were all fully set. I only drop about 20 mins today, so not enough to tell if that fixed it.

Taking it to the dealership to get looked at tomorrow.

The only other think I would offer is who recognizes the warranty. What possible problems getting warranty work approved.
thats been my concern but they are assuring me any Ford dealership including Canada has no problems as long as they are ase certified. Paperwork looks pretty comprehensive on what they cover. Even includes the hybrid battery
