Cool Rod. You know the rules. Post that thang when you can! Congrats, bro!Mine finally arrived in Orlando Saturday night and got to my dealer in Clermont yesterday morning. I'm going out of town today so that was perfect. Spectre466 yours must have traveled with mine as far as Orlando. Good luck, it's probably at your dealer today!
Mine had a couple of scratches below the right rear passenger door and a chip on the top of that door where it was opened into something. Inside was like new and smelled new too. Lots of dirt on the outside in places the prep guys didn't clean well, but when I drove it home it rained like hell so maybe some of that washed away. I didn't bother to look at the pumpkin, I was pressed for time.
Like everyone else has said, this truck is a dream. It rides so smooth and quiet and the acceleration is not much different that a Cadillac CTS V-Sport I used to have, and that was a twin turbo 6 too. It's really fast 0-70, that's as fast as I drove it.
I saw at my dealer that he had one F-150 in the showroom and it was $2000 over sticker for "market adjustment". That's bad but they had a Shelby Mustang that was $20,000 over sticker. That's REALLY bad. I used X-Plan and there wasn't any problem with increased price. I've read in this forum that Ford is offering two years of scheduled maintenance free or $500 off the price to compensate for the long wait, but my dealer couldn't find anything about it and didn't give it to me. Maybe that's a zone by zone offer.
This has been a strange experience but there's no one to blame, it's all because of the Covid. From what I've read there's no point delaying until the '22s are available because it's going to be just as slow getting one. If you have one in the pipeline keep it coming, eventually you'll be happy you did.
