One of my coworkers that knows I ordered a truck in March told me they bought a Tesla. He said that from order to delivery, it took a month for him to get his car. WHAT? ????. I get the production level differences between Ford and Tesla, but I'm still shocked. ONE MONTH TOTAL DURING A CHIP SHORTAGE.

The top one is lead foot the bottom one is carbonized grey. Way more similar in color than I expected. I'm going with carbonized. And I got the dealer to give it to me today without cleaning it. So I'm going to be driving it off the lot. Finally! What a journey. This thread made the wait more bearable.

Sucks to see so many with dates that have not moved.

I don't want the XTR stickers or any dealership advertising on the truck, so sent a reminder and just got an update from my dealer, truck is in Toronto. Maybe a couple of days to get it to the dealership even though eta still says Aug 24th. Crappy thing is that I'm heading out on camping trip on Thursday until Tuesday. ?

Well, i be a Duck, it's in Transit and will arrive overnight or at lest by noon tomorrow. Way i found out this morning was at Cassens website. Called dealer and had him look it up. Sure enough it was Released yesterday and shipped at 6 am today. 10 am dealer calls me back and said he's got the email from Cassens notifying him that it will be dropped off tonight. Standard procedure is that email to dealers day before delivery.

Delivered 7/26 - 10 days ahead of ETA
Update: Arrived at dealer at 4.15 pm today. Went there to check it out. No Hail damage and everything looks good. They're in charge of Linex and Tint, since I'm getting their pricing without markup. Love my Ford Dealer!!!

Man this truck is beautiful, and I feel like a kid again. Haha. I haven't even played around with any of the setting except linking my phone to the car. I didn't check for rust, but I'll do that tomorrow.
I did have to major scratches in the interior, so their going to have Ford replace those parts.

According to email from salesman today the truck is supposed to hit Reno in the next few days. ETA for delivery was 08-26-2021 but maybe I got lucky, have wait and see.

Funny thing is I went Ford Custom order tracking and that tracker say it's an invalid VIN, tracker on this website worked just fine.

Good thing life doesn't depend on Ford!!!

Good news here too! Have delivery stated for 8/13-8/19 but it's on the rail in Temple, TX. So in my state and may have by end of week or early next, wahooo! Dealer also said they had 8 show up last Friday and didn't even have a rail car ID. Those were a fleet order but still good to see the shipments.
