4/26 Build Week

Got the truck back yesterday. It seems like its all good now.

What was wrong? I'm an hour away from going to get my truck. Just in case it happens to me....

What was wrong?

They replaced the shifter, they think faulty part.

When I picked it up it had "Shift System Fault". I thought I've waited so long I'll take it home and get it fixed later.

But then on the way home it shifted itself into neutral while I was driving. Luckily I was on surface street and going pretty slow.

Finally got word the truck was dropped off train and getting trucked here. So excited, walk out yesterday morning to meet the truck........and they brought the wrong truck. Driver mis-read the vin number. Now they're tracking down mine and getting it back to bring here. Maybe have seen this happen one other time in a decade. I mean why wouldn't this happen after 5 months of waiting.

Welp my truck is now in my state, last update this afternoon was just outside of Jacksonville. It's gotta head down to southwest Florida so if I'm lucky I'll get it this weekend. But I'm guessing this coming week. Also, bank of America has killer interest rates. Got 1.89% for 72 months on mine. I don't think anyone can beat that.

That's Space White isnt it? What else is on your build? I am waiting for my Space White Supercab w/ sport package so it was really nice to finally see one. Looks great! Makes me more excited for mine.

Yes tracker had changed to built 7-13, shipped 7-15, ETA between 8-20 and 8-26. Yesterday salesman from dealership email me and state truck would arrive Reno 7-29. When I check this morning Ford tracker updated to delivered.

Got THE call today! Checked the FORD tracker this AM and changed to 'DELIVERED on 7/28'. Just yesterday still had the ETA at 8/13. Dealer adding bedliner and I'll pick her up at Noon on Friday, wahoo! Tells me FORD Finance offering 0.0 on 36mths , 0.9 on 48m, or 1.9 on 60m. I had my credit union ready but may rethink. Said they'll take an extra $1.4K off my XPlan cost if I go with FORD finance, so looking even better!

@MGM I wonder if my truck was on the same train as yours? The train my truck is on passed through Hayden, ID around Tuesday.

Could have been I never bothered to contact salesman regarding train car number he already told me when ordered the truck would go to the San Francisco Bay Area and be trucked to Reno. I don't know if it was Union Pacific or BNSF both have facilities for auto racks in Bay Area.

Oxford white, 302A, sport, 2.7, spray liner, fold out work surface & tailgate step.
Added OEM mud flaps, Weathertech HP floor liners, Truxedo Low Pro cover, AVS low profile stick on window visors and a Garmin mini dash cam.
That's it. It's now perfect for me. Love it so far.
