Ford, and I hear Bill Ford specifically is in panic mode. He does not want to lose the #1 vehicle. An all hands on deck has been sounded to get as many F150's out ASAP. Notice the delays in other models now being announced. All labor is focused on the F150. Sales were down 30% second quarter.

RAM is getting ready to take over Ford's spot for 2021. Hundreds of RAM trucks are arriving on dealer lots.
Good. Then maybe reality finally just knocked on their doors with a sledgehammer.

If you can't tell...I'm a little disgruntle about the entire lack of communication over all of this. Seriously, Ford. How did you F this up so epically?

Also in Orlando and also still waiting for my truck ? 4/29 build date
At the very least I thought they'd ship all trucks going to the same area together, but I think they literally came off the line and were parked with no logic in mind.

We've had several central Florida guys in our build week get their trucks, we just have to be next! What dealer did you go with? Not sure if your experience with your dealer is great or as good as Scott's dealer.

I have a family friend that works at a dealer near Sarasota so I ordered from there. So I guess technically my truck isn't coming to Central Florida

I'm sitting here in Central Florida too, looking at my empty driveway. Ordered from Clermont Ford, no activity since 4/30. :eek:

Yeah, they aren't producing and shipping in batches. I have two orders from the same dealer in South Mississippi. I ordered both on 3/16. Identical builds except the color. One built 4/29 the other 4/30. 4/30 shipped and I picked it up 6/22. The 4/29 is still on 10/31 ETA.

Yeah, I have no clue. My theory is that if they packed them into parking lots in rows, one was at the front of a row and the other was in the back? Or if they are parking them on different random parking lots, are they completing one parking lot at a time? I just can't figure out any pattern to how they are being completed. Throwing a dart at a production list would be my guess lol. And, I am a bit OCD myself so I am checking nonstop. I wish my first one had not delivered b/c it has made it all the worse like "anyday now I just know it lol."

Yeah, I have, just don't know what that means for when and how they are parked and when/how they decide to finish and ship them.

yes it is a mystery they probably came off the line together. And maybe one got parked at the end of a row and the next one at the beginning of the next . Would be nice if we knew how many are parked

Yeah my VIN's were identical except for the color # and the last digit was one off. One was produced at the end of 4/29 and the other at the start of 4/30 or so I believe based on blend date and sequence numbers. I think they are just working outside in when pulling them out and one happened to be at the end of a row and the other at the start of a row but I'm not sure, just guessing.

Someone in Michigan just posted this;

I drive by a few of the storage lots weekly and the number of trucks on the lots is way down compared to a few months ago. If they keep production shut down and parts are available they should be able to clear all these lots in a few weeks.
