I used to check 10+ times per day but I could only take so much heartache in a day. I was down to a few times per week but now that ramp 59 trucks are moving, I've been checking 3-5 times per day. I have secret hope that I get a call from my dealer that the truck unexpectedly showed up on their lot but I know that's a pipe dream.
I'm dreaming too but the next challenge is that my dealer is only open Mon - Wed due to all this. UGH!!! Anyone else have dealers partially open\closed during the week?

What specifically does blend date indicate?
Blend date is the date the parts for your truck will be put onto the line in preparation to be built. Use the search on this forum. There are multiple posts/threads explaining the order/build process.

Based on what I have read, blend date is the date all of the parts for your truck are put on the line and then it is usually produced that day or the following day. I know both of my orders worked out this way. I have one with a blend date of the 4/28 that was produced 4/29. My second has a blend date of 4/29 and was produced 4/30 (this one was actually shipped 6/9 the other is still on chip hold).

I believe that is supposed to be the way it's done but clearly it wasn't when they kicked our partially built trucks out the door and into storage. And I believe that they knew that they didn't have the parts to complete before they started to build them.

Blend date is the day they put all of the parts for your truck into the flow to hit the different assembly points along the assembly line.

blend means the parts for your truck were loaded onto the assembly line that date. usually means your truck will be built that day or next

If you go clicking around, you'll find some with missing window sticker, and the fact that mine still shows up in the tracker as in production...

On a unrelated note, and I think I know the answer because why do it any other way right? Spray in bedliner that can cause a 10w delay, I'm assuming it's on top of missing chip delay...
I had heard the bedliner thing and regretted adding the option when i got the first august bump and then joined the october 31st gang, however, my blend was 4/26 and my truck has shipped and will be delivered at the end of june...i hope! My dealer has had one or two may builds delivered with bedliners that have an 8 week delivery from order time, again, clear as mud....thanks ford.

Anyone notice the interior color option changes for the platinum on the updated build and price tool? "Rhapsody Blue" no image change though, still shows the black.

I find the ?? build and price tool so useless, it frustrates me every time I go there. Can't even add the options that are available for the particular trim level. ie copilot assist 2.0 on the xlt

So, I have two orders. One Blend Date 4/28 Produced and sent to chip heaven 4/29, still on hold. One Blend Date 4/29 Produced and sent to chip heaven 4/30. My 4/30 shipped 6/9 and my dealer just said it has been dropped off at the rail yard in New Orleans and will be here Monday or Tuesday. The other is still on hold.

I DONT THINK SO TALKED TO ford California REGIONAL SALES REP GAVE HIM VIN AND HE COULD NOT FIND IT AT THE kc plant , they are double dribbling with my vin number , dealer sales manager was kicking me $2,000 grand if I kept my order , I work for for the power company that buys 600 to 800 trucks a years from this dealer , they were not happy with a plant with NO answers , oh well . VIN FTFW1E8XMKE05340 ORDER #F011 , THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHERE THIS TRUCK IS ,
His blend is 4/21 so it's built, just stuck with the rest of us.
Unfortunately, I think your truck is not yet built and fell into a weird grey area, which is why your dealer can't find it.

Kansas City trucks that were assigned a blend date prior to the plant shutdown on 4/19, where the actual blend date fell after the shutdown (in your case, 4/21), will not get an updated sticker with a new blend date until it's rescheduled at the plant, if at all.

The likely situation here is that your truck has to be rescheduled. It's still unclear for this specific scenario, how Ford is prioritizing the those 8-10 days of blend among the other trucks that were ordered after the shutdown and scheduled for the first week back.

If anything good can be said here, at least it's not sitting outside for months.
