Hey guys looking for a little help here, i am a novice at 3d design and have been 3d printing parts for my vehicles for over 4 years now

I have a collum shift 40/20/40 bench seat 2021 rcsb and just bought the Trigger six shooter wireless upfitter switch kit for my truck

I have been trying to design a filler pannel that goes below the heater control where the 12v, usb-c and usb port are located for the radio but have had no luck getting it to match up and look somewhat good, if anyone on here has one of these trucks and does 3d design would you be able to make a filler pannel to go in this spot?

For payment could you post it on cults3d and let me know when its up or a link?

FWIW, my process would be making a template out of posterboard or similar for your basic shape. Paste it on graph paper, take a photo, import/scale in modeling software. I assume getting it to contour to the existing panel is the challenge? Rather than trying to make an off the plate perfect print, just extrude you basic shape with enough material to manually scribe and cut to fit. Follow the same logic of creating a template, trace, and go.

Honestly, fiberglass is your friend...even if you have a removable textured build plate. You could also look into scanning apps for your phone if it has lidar. Its pretty easy now to jump into 3d printing, modelling on the other hand (as you know) takes 1000s of hours to learn the nuances of say and industrial designer. I'd stick to Bondo and sandpaper personally.
