Leadfoot Powerboost, '26 Powerboost on order
Slippery mode definitely helps when getting going in slick conditions but remember - regardless of driving mode you will be limited by the grip of your tires. It's All Wheel Drive not All Wheel Stop.

Have fun out there!

Just saw the forecast for Texas. Time to stock up on beer or airline tickets to Cancun.

No need to drive on icey roads. Your power grid is going to crumble and fail again under the demand. Texas is one place where a powerboost should be recommended.

actually we are on a coop and ERCOT does not control our power, during snowmeggadedon we never lost power, but the COST was high because they didnt BUY enough juice prior to event
and YES i wanted a PB but none to be found when i got the 22

plus we have 8000 watt genny in the bus if needed

retired!
Hang in there, Chief.

So far so good in my little corner of rural Bastrop County, keeping the fingers crossed, nearby Austin didn't fare quite so well it seems.

Yep, I'm on co-op power, too, never had an outage during snowmaggedon and the rates even stayed level(y)

Being a lifelong resident of this area I know folks can't drive smart on ice / snow around here .... topped-up my larder yesterday morning and staying hunkered-down for the duration. ;):)

2 trips today with a round trip of 45 ish miles on each, drive mode slippery, trasnfers case selected by truck to 4A
truck seems sluggish and like its being held back at 65. down shifted ALOT, also droppe dmpg on instant thing from 20.5 to 18 over the two trips
also made different HMMM from mid cabin than it normally does in 4A
in morning i will run it in just 4A to see of noise goes away . or if its just the 30F outside making all the extra noises

this morning roads were wet, but both bridges had slushy stuff and one patch of ice about size of half the truck right at end of bridge, i saw it about time truck hit that patch and wiggled a bit but then regained traction, cruise was off and doing 60 ish
cracks me up at stop lights as the front camera and sensors are frozen over so i get the alert beep
above freezing now so the roof ice-cycles are melting off and yard is MUSH

truck is covered in ice on sides from splash up, about 1 inch thick . rear tail lights have FINS now from ice build up ? ?
going to need a deep wash and wax when all this goes away
