Was told by a nice lady at Norfolk that they aren't supposed to give that info out. That some newer agents do, but they aren't supposed to unless your name is on the bill. They may be trying to prevent a Fast and the Furious situation.
Huh? I tracked my buddy’s and didn’t speak to a human at all.

The 5.0 would cost me to much in gas to.swich from an eco. I would be into that right pedal way to much
The MPGs with eco vs 5.0 is a wash, regardless of what people tell you. I’ve had both and got worse mileage in my eco because it’s faster and I stayed in the turbos.

Eta: to answer the other question, I would prefer the 5.0 over the 2.7 personally. I don’t think the build bubble fills in until it ships, so obviously that one hasn’t shipped yet, and if it hasn’t shipped yet, than it’s doubtful you’ll have it to the dealer in 2 weeks. I could be wrong about that though, because mine looks different

I tried that before calling the first time, and it didn't work for whatever reason, but this time it did. Looks like it landed in Oakwood MI this morning. Maybe it's meeting the convoy there.

I understand that. I have always enjoyed the sound of a V8 and I think I would be heavy on the peddle to better enjoy the sound the 5.0 produces

that’s great news. From what it looks like for the trucks getting the last ride to the dealer, it takes about 2 weeks as they generally have been receiving 1 car loader delivery per week

Thanks for that! Yeah the 5.0 is a few more dollars and I’ve heated also the mileage is a wash.. I don’t know about the reliability issues 2.7 vs 5.0, but if this one comes first then it’s going to be a 5.0. let’s hope it gets moved to shipped soon..

Also just got this again. Seems meaningless as I got it a couple weeks ago and thought it meant my truck was on the move. A man can hope though, right?

Yeah and that's why I haven't really been interested in tracking it I suppose. It doesn't show a shipped date even though I got a shipped email. Also, chat said I was at Ramp 58 awaiting to get on a railcar, on it's way to a convoy. So who really knows. Maybe the tracker is just behind.

If it’s shipped and in transit already than there’s a possibility. The only sure thing to get excited about is when you finally get a rail car, because that means it’s actually out of the black hole that is Michigan and on it’s way to you. I’ll finally be able to smile when that happens for me.

The tracker is crap. Did they tell you where Ramp 58 was? Flat Rock or New Boston? Mine went from Ramp 51 (Flat Rock) to Ramp 5M (New Boston), to a rail car (CSX). If you are in New Boston, your next stop should be a rail car. If you are in New Boston, check your dealer or chat every day, at some point, you'll get the car number and the destination. Not sure where in Georgia you are, but mine went with CSX through Atlanta on its way to its 'Convoy' lot in Columbia SC. I hope you are in New Boston and on a rail car soon.

Ramp 58 is melvindale where mine will go before it gets on a train. My buddy’s sat there about 2 weeks before it got loaded up and then made it to Louisiana in about 8 days

I got a vvr showing ramp 51. But I’m convinced it’s still sitting in a parking lot keeping the crows entertained.
