3/28 Build Week Group

How do you feel about that? Have a Platinum PB, 701A High, 7.2kW, lay flats, max tow and adaptive steering with 3/28 build week, currently on chip hold. Frustrated that they are already missing a few bells and whistles from the '21 models and seems they are continuing to remove items.

I don't like it!! Also, what happens if you don't sign? Truck stays in purgatory? Ford has done a crap job, in my opinion, in managing order book. Look at production sales figures for 1Q22. If I remember correctly, they have taken almost 2X the orders they produced. We are 2 years into this supply change stuff, they should have a better control on their order book and communication to customers. Good luck! Of course, I don't even have a VIN yet - don't know what I will do if faced with same choice. I want what I ordered and what they acknowledged.

Order tracker says mine's been delivered to the dealer - now waiting for them to call to say it's ready; yet a new circle of heck for me to experience...

That pretty much sums up my sentiment. I want what I ordered.
I understand supply chain issues but their management of communications with their customers is a joke.

I’m not sure I really care about parking assist. My wife has it on her 2020 Explorer and it hasn’t been used once (although she needs to use it ).
I’ll be glad just to get the truck.

it’s my understanding after talking to the dealership that if I didn’t sign the document then the truck would sit as-is until the module was received.

Right, and let’s be honest, I won’t need park assist when I park at the back of the lot so nobody dings up my badass truck I’ve been waiting on for 5 months

I probably won't use it either but that's not the point, or at least it isn't to me. On top of all the other issues in getting a truck, I'm guessing the $365 credit is closer to cost than it is to a sell price. Meaning they are most likely keeping the profit on a feature they are no longer providing.
