Just a heads up if your truck is coming out of Dearborn truck plant they have started to cancel shifts

Seems odd that Ford would send out blend dates for next week and cancel shifts at the same time. There was a news story from one year ago that stated canceled shifts at Dearborn the first two weeks in April. Maybe someone confused that story for this year.

Excitedly ordering accessories now that my new baby is almost on her way: RetraxPro XR tonneau (great price from Alex at Real Truck), short antenna, rear seat pet (cough kids cough) cover, wind deflectors, etc. ESP price quote ready.

Excitement slightly dampened though because there’s still no available bed lighting kit for MY22. Pissed that Bed Lighting was rolled into the Bed Utility Package for all trim levels. Interesting fact: Still today, LED Box Lighting is listed as a standard exterior feature for MY22 Lariat F-150s.

Ford chat didnt offer an information on production cutbacks. She said my build date is 4/1, bumped 1 day. I take that info with a grain of salt, I think my date has moved a day each direction each time I have chatted

They only Canceled a few shifts Monday night Tuesday morning they worked last night and are working today so it shouldn’t be too bad of a hit but if they’re running out of parts they’ll probably run auto parts again this week

Got my window sticker this morning. Blend number is 220220405.

I'm guessing 2/2022/04/05 as in April 5, 2022. But what is the first 2 mean? Does that mean job 2?

First number doesn’t necessarily mean anything of importance, but yes 4/5 is your blend. Join the 4/4 build week thread
