Lol so I text may salesman the email ford sent me about the chiphold and he said the latest printout showed my truck arriving by the 17, and when he gets a new print out he will let me know what’s going on. Clueless. I had already called his boss the day before to ask about the chiphold and when he looked it up he said they are hoping to have the module installed by the 17. Where does Ford find these people.

I know most of these guys are useless, but they can only use the info Ford provides. My dealer doesn't communicate with me unless I contact him. He always seems to have less info than what I tell him

yeah pretty much what I find with mine. Nice guy but I'm sure some dealers are more used to doing custom orders in this volume. I'm in a pretty small town and before COVID they mainly sold all dealer stock and rarely did custom orders like this so I'm sure they are just learning the ropes of how to deal with guys and gals like us looking for by the minute updates.

Looks like I got lucky. I almost feel guilty posting this. I am as nuts as most about getting that truck in my hands. That tracker has become my nemesis over the last week. It seems unreliable. Yet The 6-12 Apr deadline happened. Dealer said Arriving Monday. So, I’m guessing more are coming very soon.

Thanks, I forgot to say that the truck has been MIA on the tracker for the last week.
It seems the trailer brake recall being a safety issue could be the culprit holding trucks up.
I went thru that with a Ranger last January. It just got released for sale last Tuesday. Sat on the loT 3 months.

I would be totally fine with them fixing a recall before shipping. I have a camper so I've been pondering this issue while I wait for my truck

apparently the rail car that my truck is (hopefully was) on is currently in Calgary so I'm praying they dropped my truck MN going thru and not that my truck went to the other side of the country.

I assume Ford chat has been unhelpful with any updates?

Some tell me it’s gonna be at my dealer on 4/19 and others say it’s beginning transit on that date. I don’t have a clue
