Better business bureau can help I heard.Well, after two hours at the dealer I did not leave with my truck. Frankly, not sure if I’m going to get it. I’m not going to out the dealer yet but they tried to change the deal at the last minute. I mean I went for the test drive, hooked up FordPass, have the emergency key still in my pocket as I type this. When it got to financing, they claimed they could not honor the deal I was repeatedly told that I was entitled to on both pricing and financing. The salesperson was and is doing a great job but he can only do so much. Lots of apologies and explanations on why they can’t honor it but the salesperson just sent me the smart Vincent and said he’s going to escalate on Monday morning. Thing is, they don’t even deny the deal is changing. After six months just feeling defeated. These days it’s been normalized to lie, cheat and be a shitty person with no repercussions. Done ranting. Back to my bourbon and will see what Monday brings.
I know this is a crappy time for you, but can you elaborate on what your deal is, and what their reasoning is for not honoring it, given that price protection is a widely known, and accepted Ford practice based on the time of order so far as there are not certain changes that can void the original pricing protection. I would/will be irate if someone pulled this with me.
