I haven’t noticed a 3/28 build week thread, so here we go…
Ordered on 1/29, received build date of 3/28 on February 10th.
nothing since, I will take that as good news.
I have a Lariat in Atlas Blue, Supercrew, 6.7 bed, 501A, max tow

Hoping this build week holds, but optimism is low.

3/28 was my last date given. Ordered Jan 15, 2022. Received VIN Feb 1st. 302a 157" wheelbase max tow, 3.5, FX4, Sport in Carbonized grey.

Noticing there seems to be a few 157" wheelbases so far for 3/28.

I'm coming from a 5'5" bed. Had it for 5 years and it did everything I needed it too.

But figured this time around maybe the extra foot would come in handy as we use our truck for camping / towing a camping trailer.

I have a long bed Tacoma currently, it will be nice to lay a 4x8 sheet of whatever flat in the bed of the F150. Ive always had mid sized trucks.

How did the Taco do pulling that trailer? Looks like a 21' footer maybe? Tough to tell at that angle.

Will you be towing that same trailer with the Ford?

This is what we are currently towing 23' hitch to bumper. Box is 21'. 3,900 lbs dry - no slide.

Yup, 21 foot, 3800 dry. The Taco does great. I have a lot of trips towing like the picture shows. My kids are 8 and 9 now and we all have kayaks, so the truck is getting way to close to the max rating, so onto a bigger truck.
the truck does really good considering. You always feel like you need to stay on top of everything though, especially the trans. Stop and go traffic, inclines, etc get the trans temp going up to the max.

Yup, 21 foot, 3800 dry. The Taco does great. I have a lot of trips towing like the picture shows. My kids are 8 and 9 now and we all have kayaks, so the truck is getting way to close to the max rating, so onto a bigger truck.

The kiddos will enjoy the extra room in the back seat as well. I know ours did when we got our '15.
Came from a '14 Cherokee so the Supercrew was like a limo.

And I will be keeping the trailer for a few more years. I got the max tow so I can eventually upgrade to a larger camper. I would like to get a toy hauler, loading kayaks on truck racks won't get easier as I get older.

Yep. I got max tow and tow mirrors for the same reason. I'd lake to find a rack system (for kayaks/canoes or aluminum fishing boat) that is compatible with a hard folding tonneau cover. They seem to be hard to find.

Thought about toyhaulers, but we found the storage (pantry / kitchen storage etc) to be lacking. Also tough to find with bunks and an exterior camp kitchen.

Check on the Elevated Rack system. It works with most covers. I already have this setup ordered even though my truck isn't built
