I recently replaced the stock tires on my stock 2023 F150 Platinum Powerboost FX4 with 285/65/20 BFG KO2s (34.6" tall, 11.2" wide)
There was a minor rub at full lock on the front liners, but this was easily fixed by securing the liner away from the tire. The job took 5 minutes, a drill, and 2 zip ties.
I have still not yet gone off roading or loaded a heavy load since installing the bigger tires.
Love the way it looks, but I am generally just glad to have a more capable tire for the things I do here in Colorado. The stock tires were pretty futile for anything other than dry pavement driving.
I've lost a few MPG for sure, but road noise and ride quality are virtually unchanged.
If you have been running this tire setup with no mods affecting ride height, what has been your experience?
