looking for a way to mound a 270 degree awning on the bed of my truck. it already has a hard folding tonneau cover, therefore, can't really install any type of rack or platform tops to mount the awning. has anyone done the awning with tonneau cover?

maybe install an over-the-cab rack that might be long enough to mount the 270 on? I'm just looking at google pictures and dreaming up options.

Maybe find a bed cover that allows you to expose the rectangular rack holes so you can install a bed racking system?

The tri folds are tough. I would recommend switching to a roll up tonneau cover. I was able to install the rack system you see in my pic with a rollup Real Truck cover. The 270 awning is sweet. You should def try and get it setup.

Yes, but it doesn't show a picture of the tonneau opened. Must be some kinda weird magic to open the folding tonneau with the Billie Bars installed.
You are right. A roll-up one cover might be more fitting for this setup. Good luck!

That's exactly the reason why I chose a retractable tonneau ... because I wanted to be able to put a low profile bike rack over the tonneau.
