My driver's seat feels like it's collapsing. I first noticed back in early June when we were on a trip. Felt a pop and crack when I got out to get gas. Got back in and felt like I was sinking in it. I've owned quite a few F150's over the years and never had this issue. I've read on other sites that people have had the issue and it was a bad weld causing the seat to basically break and collapse. First the dealer said the plastic clips holding the seat cover popped and put them back on. Same issue a day or so later. They then ordered a new seat cover. Felt good when I picked it up, then felt the crack and pop again. Most uncomfortable ride now. They have it again and I asked if they could just replace the bottom portion with a new one and said they have to go through the "process" before the warranty will kick in. I'm trying to figure out how many times I have to take it back before that process is done. At this point, I really regret trading in my 2018 that had about 180k miles. This new one has been a pain in the butt (now literally).
Just curious if anyone else having this problem and the solution you got.

Same issue with my 2025 lariat. Drivers seat bottom clips on front right side unclipped.
Fixed that but still got the pop next time I got in. What fixed it was mentioned on here after doing some research. I had my seat bottom all the way down raised it an inch up. Now doesn’t pop while getting in and out and feels better.

I recently posted something similar, seat pops over bumps and getting in and out, but doesn't feel like it's "collapsing" at all. It also is shifting side to side if I turn hard enough. Have not been into dealer yet to have it looked at. I have not seen the thing about raising bottom up a bit, I will have to try that.
