i have a bluecruise hardware prep 2.0 that is not blue cruise yet..
i notice when driving in the lane the truck hugs tight to the right lane on its own and gets dangerously close to other vehicles…any way to adjust this to shift left a little?

will blue cruise when activated do anything different or compensate for the other vehicles…its very annoying

Mine does this too. It appears it is trying to stay away from the yellow line on your left, which would indicate oncoming traffic. I theorize on this because when I am on a 6 or 8 line highway and in an middle line it seems the truck is much more centered than when in the left lane. The major irritation with this is that most of the time you use this feature you are on a divided highway and the yellow line on the left actually poses a lower threat of injury than the white line on the right.. I doubt blue cruise will be different, but someone else will have to confirm that.

BlueCruise hugs the right side of the lanes too. It’s scary often.

I have adaptive cruise control with lane centering (not bluecruise or bluecruise prep) on my 302A XLT and I have the same issue. I've stopped using the lane centering because of it, which is more than a little aggravating because it's the reason I paid the extra $750 for CoPilot360 Assist 2.0. Hoping Ford fixes this in a software update.

I’ve had the same issue and dealer had no answers after checking calibration and making sure everything was up to date. Hope it gets fixed because this is one of the main features I upgraded from my 2018 for

bluecruise has the same bias however I don’t find it too troubling as I’m usually not cruising in the passing lane. One exception is passing a semi with a driver hugging the left side, that’s a little unnerving and I take over.

Yep. I have a platinum with blue cruise and hugs the right side of the lane. Very annoying when I’m in the fast lane…I do think it is a bit better in other lanes but It’s still unnerving.

Anyone else think they could get pulled over at night for suspected DWI given how much the truck is correcting itself within the lane?

While I have noticed it favors the right I have never felt like the truck was overly correcting itself in the lane. Having said that I rarely drink or drive at night so not to concerned :)

Haha I don’t either but there are times when Bluecruise is trying to find the lane and it must look like I’m distracted or under the influence from an onlooker…I’d rather not get pulled over and have to explain that the self driving truck is tipsy and not me ?
