I've used Android Auto on a few cars but every time I got frustrated with the limited capabilities I just disabled it and ran Bluetooth for music.

I have a new 25 and am making an effort to use AA.

An issue - I do not see Amazon Music as an option to add to Android Auto.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get it to show up?

I have configured Amazon Music as my default music source for Android Auto. When I tell my truck to play music, it fires off Amazon Music.

Strange. When I am in my android auto app it doesn't allow me to even add Amazon music

I don't see it there now either, but I know I did it there at some point. Had to choose between YouTubeMusic, Spotify, or Amazon Music.

Nope. It's not there.
And I use it every day. I have been using it through Bluetooth instead and shutting off android auto

I usually just tell it to play music from Amazon Music and sometimes it fires right up, other times It's kinda like my wife and I have to ask it twice.

I've been fumbling with this for the past hour.

I found something interesting.
You can go into "Developer mode" in Android Auto on your phone.
Then you enable (Unknown source).

Once I did that, I saw Android Auto as an option in my launcher (on my phone).
AND it finally showed up in the truck.

1] Go to settings
2) Connected devices
3) Android auto
4) On the android auto screen just scroll down to the bottom where the about section is shown.
5) Click on "version & Permissions" 10 times to.enable android auto developer settings.
6) Once enabled go to the top right and click on 3 dots.
7) Click on "Developer settings"
8) Scroll down to " Unknown source"
9) Put a check mark on the setting and restart the phone.
