Hi! I took delivery of a 2024 Lariat (501A) this afternoon- it was delivered from South Texas so it was handed over to me with 400 total miles. The first thing I tried to do when I got in was slide the electric driver's seat forward, and it doesn't work. All of the other functions work, so I'm guessing the fuse is good. The passenger seat is fine.

If the dealership who sold it wasn't 350 miles away I'm sure they'd look at it immediately, but in Houston I'm just another guy with a truck and and my local dealer look at it when they can. If it's something really simple (i.e. a loose connector) I'd be happy to take care of it myself. Do any of you have any insight on which of the many plugs under the driver's seat are related to front/back slide? I couldn't even find the right motor (but at the time I was pretty hot & frustrated). Any other suggestions are welcome, not happy that my >$70K truck arrived and has to go to the shop before I can even drive it.

Thanks in advance.

Go under the back of the seat after raising it all the way up, should be easy to find. The motor that goes forward and backwards is easy to find as it has a drive shaft that goes to both sides. Can't miss it.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, wish I'd looked before I dropped the truck at Ford early this morning!

Issue resolved. Big Star Ford in Manvel was kind enough to take a quick look, even though their service center was pretty busy. They had to remove the seat, but ultimately it was a connector issue and an easy fix. Thanks to those who read & posted.
