2024 Antimatter Blue XLT 2.7L SCSB
This will be my second truck, my last truck unfortunately hydroplaned and rolled into a farmer’s field. After that I bought a 2024 SCREW Antimatter Blue 4x4 2.7L and began building it as a street truck. I do live in rural Canada, so I get plenty of slack for lowering a truck in mudding country, but I rarely ever took the last one offroad, so I focused on street driving with no regrets.

My plan with this thread is to update it over the years to track my progress, some things will wait till the warranty is up though.

Built so far:

Ride tech lowering kit
Ride tech rear sway bar
Borla S-type cat back mid pipes
CVfab Dual-filter cold air intake
Ford performance fender vents
Ford performance raptor steering wheel
Carbon fiber steering wheel bezel
Husky rear wheel well liners
Morimoto xb led taillights
Morimoto x3b led third brake light
Bakflip mx4 folding tonneau cover
Raxiom axial led license plate lamps
Stubby antenna
Head unit screen protector

Future build list:

Matte clear racing stripes (phantom look like cop cars)
Niche Calabria rims
Ridetech helper bags
Hellwig front anti-sway bar
J&L oil separator
CVfab titan v2 intercooler
CVfab Cold-side intercooling piping
CVfab Stainless steel catted downpipes
CVfab Throttle body space
RCI skid plate package
Hella horns

Very nice!

Is that the original tailpipes?
There's a great deal on a full Ford performance exhaust with the dual tailpipes like yours, that fit the cut out rear bumper. I wondered if it would interfere with my IHC helper bags. Looks like it should be fine.
But if I get that exhaust I'll have to find the parts for the rear bumper with cut outs which I'm really wanting that anyway.

I have the Borla mid pipes, with the factory tail pipes that come recessed into the Bumper. The full Borla kit would sit below the bumper creating a gap. I liked the blacked-out tips and with the mid-section replaced I get to keep the factory look but get the Borla sound.

with that said the exhaust should not affect helper bags since I believe they are mounted on the outside of the frame, while the exhaust runs inside the frame. The one undercarriage photo shows the area well

Love it!

What are your thoughts on the handling of the ride tech suspension? Is it better on corners and overall handling than the stock suspension?

night and day, with the sway bar there’s no body roll in tight corners. It’s a rougher ride, the bed slaps the axle sometimes so the helper bags is a must for heavy loads or a more comfortable ride. but it’s exactly what you would want from a street truck feel. I live in a rural area and take country roads with confidence and can accelerate through an apex vs reacting to it.

That is awesome! This is the route I want to go. Also being in rural areas the only concern of mine is not having ground clearance on those bad winter days or to be able to clear dead animals, branches in the road lol

you will notice a major reduction in clearance as expected, mainly with the active shutter lowered.

I graze roadkill, so I avoid larger items like racoons, as for snow, we had one of the worst winters in the last 10 years and the truck handled the roads like a champ, it's still a 4x4, but if the road isn't plowed you will get snow build up on the bumper.

I've attached a photo from this February when the snow was above my truck.

Very nice!

You able to post a video or sound clip so we can hear how the exhaust sounds on cold start, idle, and some revs?

Also, how's the drone at different speeds?

I just noticed I had the Atak model, which was incorrect I bought the S-type, which is a mid-range volumed exhaust. I'll take some clips after work, there's very little drone when cruising, it really wakes up while under load, and when it cold starts its nice and loud. I leave work at 4am, so I don't know if my neighbors would be too happy if my truck had the Atak kit.
