Is anyone else having these issues?
I flew 1200 miles to IA on July 4th to pickup a 2024 Platinum Plus. Happy and ready to start the drive home, I left the dealership and 30 miles later I realized there was a vibration. I went back and they balances the tires. Left again and it was still vibrating. Decided to purchase the other more expensive Platinum Plus on the lot, only to leave and it also had a vibration. Unfortunently, I didn't conform it until I was much further away. So fast forward, I bring it to my local dealer and they verified the vibration and recommended a road force balance. They realized that 2 of the tires could not be balanced, so they recommended I replace 2 tires under warranty. Instead of taking the 2 cheep factory tires, I replaced all 4 with Michelins at my cost. The vibration was greatly improved, but the vibration is still felt at low speeds as well as high speeds. On any particular stretch of road it will vibrate and then stop. I had a 2021 f150 Limited with the same tires and am very familiar with the ride quality. In the 2024 model while driving over bumps and road patches, this truck feels like it looses contact with the road as it skips around. I tried a Ford buy back and they said I didn't qualify. The local Ford dealer is waiting to get a F150 with 22's to compare the ride. In the meantime I am frustrated with FORD! Although catching a vibration on vide is hard, check out the video attached.
