2024 ford f150 xlt
Hello, so I recently bought a f150 with a panoramic roof. I park in my driveway at a decline ( nose facing down )
Every time it rains ( mostly all night or long periods of rain) it leaks thru the Bluetooth speaker on drive side or it’s completely soaked all down the a pillar .
I have brought it to ford 3 times now and they can’t replicate the same results. They even have it parked like I would at home. They checked the drain tubes/ re did the panoramic roof seals.
Is there something they’re missing or I am?

With it parked at that angle only the 2 front drains are working. If the sunroof isnt tightly aligned it will let more water in at the 2 glass panel seals. If thats the case, It will overwhelm the 2 drains and flow out over the drain channel. I had issues with multiple trucks and started doing my own panel alignment to keep it from seeping so much water. Ultimately ordered a Truck without a sunroof.

If you go to the Off Road screen on the instrument cluster it should show you the angles the truck is at. I would be sure that the dealer is actually positioning the truck at the same angle...

So it does not leak if you park front high, or on a level surface?

Here is the same issue from 2021

Sorry this is happening for you, just keep on Ford to get it fixed.

It doesn’t leak when parked on a level surface or front end high .
I tested it when it would rain over night.
Thanks for the replies and that link.

So I wonder if your panel alignment is just off enough (like antho suggested) to let excess water in that the drains can't keep up with, or if there is an angle at which all would/could fail...

I've had mine parked that way in my driveway before, but it's not as steep as your's is...

Water will come in around the pano roof, at the sides where the two glass panels meet. You might want to have someone inside the truck with the pano shade open, and then someone on the outside with a hose moving to various spots around the pano roof. You should be able to see water coming in and down to the drip rail underneath. I can see this when going through a car wash.

At least that will give you an idea of where and how much water can come in.

After that, my guess is that the drip lines are getting overwhelmed by a strong rain and it's overflowing the drip rails.

Did you ever get the water leak stopped?
