It’s been a month since my blend date so I followed up with Chip from @Granger Ford for an update, as it appears many in this thread along with others with post 7/17 blend dates have already taken delivery. My vehicle was sent offsite for a tonneau cover installation but has since been put into purgatory for a QA hold. Anyone else from this build week have a similar experience?

I find it odd that mine would get flagged but not others from the same build week.

This process has been horrible and no one can ever provide me answers.
Same experience. My KR 601A has been done since March. Had two shipment dates, 11 Apr and then 25 July….but it’s still on quality hold. I just want to know what is wrong. They refuse to tell me.

I am curious what the QC hold will turn out to be. My truck was built 7/17/24 and I picked it up from @Granger Ford on 8/2/24.

I will keep you all informed if I learn anything. Based on experiences I’ve read throughout this forum, I’ve set very low expectations in terms of communication from Ford. Should have known better and installed the tonneau cover installation myself at home, otherwise I’d have my F150 by now.

On a positive note, I suppose incentives should only get more attractive into the Fall months.

Nearing a month since my blend date as well. Stuck in quality purgatory. Any updates on your end?

Blend date 3/11, quality hold for 5 exceptions, all have to do with either “fuel level low” or “battery level low” but I do not know what that actually means.

I just checked my tracker for the first time in a couple of weeks and ironically yesterday it went from “built” back to “order confirmed”. Clearly can’t rely on it.

Has the dealership been able to give you any information?

I reached out to Chip at Granger for my monthly check-in and the latest is that the vehicle is in Melvindale at ramp 58, awaiting shipment. Per Vin View, it's showing a delivery range of 9/24 - 9/30. I'm a bit skeptic on those dates since it hasn't even shipped yet.

October 9th will be 6/mo's from my order date and ~3/mo from my blend date. Kinda crazy how a QC hold can add this much time to a delivery date this far along in a model year cycle. Fortunately I still have a daily driver that I own, so no issues there. Unfortunately just mean's I'll need to be more reactive than proactive when planning this pick-up around my work schedule.
